HTCG News is your one stop shop for everything HTCG related, and what would we be if we didn’t allow you to upload, and sell your very own cards you’ve made! With our built in marketplace we give you the chance to sell or buy HTCG cards, decks, packs, and more on our website! Keep in mind that each item is user uploaded, and that purchasing should be done at your own risk.
The first thing we will cover is Selling your cards through our website. The first thing you will need to do is REGISTER on our forums if you haven’t done so already. You’re able to register with either your email, or through discord.
Once you’ve done that, you should make your way over to the MARKETPLACE which is in the top of the navigation.
Once you’re there you should see a green button that says Sell Cards as seen here:
Once you click on that it will open up the categories. Select the category you’d like to sell. For example, if you’re planning on selling a full deck, starter deck, etc. You will click on the Decks category. Pack of cards, click on Packs, and individual cards, you click on Cards.
Once you’ve selected your category you will be taken to the main page of selling your card(s). You have your title (The name people will see) this should be done to show what people will be buying “Demi – Greek Starter Deck” indicates it’s the Demi Card Game, as well as it’s the Greek version of the starter deck. Tagline, will be the subtext. This should explain more about your sale/item. “Exclusive starter deck that will not be available after 2/19/2020” That for example showcases that it’s exclusive, and gives the date it will be available. This way people who will be buying it knows exactly what it’s about. Next is your vision number. This is used if you have mutliple sets. For example, you can put Set 1 or Set 2 in the name, or simply do 1.0 or 2.0, 1.5, etc. etc.
The next part is:
Make sure this is ticked! If not, you will not be able to sell your product. As of now we’re only allowing physical cards to be sold, however if anyone in the future wishes us to sell digital we will change this option.
Next is your price. Set this to whatever amount you’d like to make it, keep in mind that the shop takes 15% from fees to keep the site up and running, and to ensure that we have the latest and greatest content!
Below that you have:
Next two are your Terms & Conditions as well as your Description. Both of these you can make yourself. The Terms should be clarified so others know what they can and cannot do with the cards you’re selling. For example, if they are beta cards you can write out a non disclosure agreement so they cannot showcase them anywhere. It’s all up to you. Same with the description. It’s HIGHLY recommended that you add pictures, and if possible a video to every sale so people can see what your product looks like. You have a 90% higher chance to sell your items if you have these two versus if you do not.
Your next section is links. If you have a link to your website, social media, etc. you can place them there.
And lastly you have your icon image. This is what will be displayed on the forum, it’s HIGHLY recommended to add it as you have a significantly higher chance of selling with one.
Now that selling is out of the way, let’s go to Buying!
This is super easy, and not so complicated. Simply go to the MARKETPLACE and select the item you wish to purchase. Next you will need to either MAKE AN ACCOUNT or LOGIN after that you will see a green button that says Order now for … as seen below:
You will click that, and then follow the steps that it gives you from there. After which, the seller will be notified with all of your information to send the card(s) over to you.
